Strategic Aims

RABI's strategy, Empowering the worth and wellbeing of farming people, sets out a vision for a future where farming people feel valued, supported and understood. It builds on insight from The Big Farming Survey, which revealed that farming people experience consistently lower levels of physical and mental health than the UK average.

RABI is aware that the charity must continue to develop in order to deliver the evolving toolkit of services required to meet the changing needs of the farming community we support. The strategy is built around three core aims that will guide RABI's work in the years ahead:

1. Improve access to health and wellbeing support
Expanding trusted services, including counselling and Click and Chat, alongside partnership programmes, to remove barriers and reach people earlier.
2. Strengthen community resilience
Supporting locally led initiatives that connect people, share experiences and build confidence across farming communities.
3. Maximise our reach and impact
Growing RABI's volunteer network and partnerships so that more farming people know about RABI and can access help when they need it.

Further details can be found in RABI's new strategy document, Empowering the worth and wellbeing of farming people.
